About Us
Our organization is dedicated to promoting the best that documentary film making has to offer worldwide. We seek to provide film makers a forum which promotes their unique contributions to the evolution of the cultural arts within the State of Florida and within the entertainment industry as a whole. In addition we:
- Provide a documentary film festival to promote the art form of up and coming documentary filmmakers at a local, national and international level.
- Provide educational outreach programs for young filmmakers grades 6-12.

Nick Toutoungi sharpened his technical skills at Florida State University receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Technical Theater. After graduating college, Nick secured a position as Technical Director at the Fort Lauderdale Int’l Film Festival (One of the most important regional film festivals in the Southeast US…and the longest running film festival in the world!). The 37 day long film festival contained over 400 indoor and outdoor screenings of films from over 35 countries from around the world. As the Technical Director for the film festival, Nick revolutionized the film festival’s programs in ticketing, membership, and projection technology and oversaw renovation of their own theater, Cinema Paradiso. In 2000, he helped to create the popular Maroone Moonlight Outdoor Movie Series which was featured in the Wall Street Journal along with several other founding U.S. outdoor movie companies. He helped pioneer the use of new inflatable screen technology by using a 20’ inflatable sign or billboard which was intentionally left blank to serve as a movie screen. In 2005, as the Senior Operations Director for the festival and after more than 250 outdoor movie events and film premieres, Nick started Twilight Features, Inc. The idea was to expand the outdoor cinematic experience throughout the state of Florida using the quality technical experience he obtained by presenting films for various high profile festival guests including directors and actors who insist on a high quality video and sound experience. Since then Twilight Features Inc. has successfully produced over 500 events throughout the southeast and technically directed over 30 film festivals
